Ophtalmologic visit

When I had keratitis herpetic I was seen by the head ophthalmologist of one of the most important hospitals in Rome.
After a careful examination, the luminary diagnosed me and simplified it by saying that the best option was to enucleate the eye.
I understood then why his disciples called him “THE REAPER”.
Full of admiration for his extreme professionalism, the following day I went to London where I had an appointment with an English ophthalmologist who had treated a famous Italian politician.
Politicians are well known for never being treated in national structures; they always go abroad.
When I told the English doctor about the sinister intentions of “THE REAPER”, he burst out laughing and I think, that at least, for a week, the attentive English man laughed at everything.
Result: I have kept my eye and my sight is excellent.
